Did you know that what you use on your hair can affect your next colour service?
Do you wonder why your hair gets so dirty so quickly, why it's so frizzy or maybe why it's knotty or your colour is dull?
Most clients are shocked when i tell them that the supermarket/drug store shampoo they buy has nasty chemicals like silicones which can put a clear coating over your hair, resulting in a chemical reaction at your next colour service.
They also have detergents in them that can strip your colour, so when you wash your hair with these inexpensive shampoo you've just rinsed your fresh colour down the drain (and the money you spent on it too!)
Salon quality products are more concentrated meaning you'll need to use less of it vs an alternative
For example, you pay $30 for a salon quality shampoo
1 pump = 5g
5g divided by a 300g bottle
= 60 hair washes
divided by $30 = 50c
The same for conditioner
so it costs a total of $1 per hair wash
Olaplex no.3 at $50 = $2.5 once a week
On average that's $4.50 a week and i don't know why we all do this but i'm going to compare it to buying a coffee, it doesn't sound like a huge investment does it?
Especially when you know you'll be saving money on colouring your hair as you won't be washing your last colour out, you'll also be nourishing your hair, keeping it in healthy condition and preparing it for the next colour service.
